Terms of Service

By creating an account or using the Deer Camp Golf Co. app or website, you agree to these terms. Read the parts about subscriptions and self-reported scores closely — everything else is standard.
1. Your account
You must be at least 13 years old to use Deer Camp. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Give us accurate information when you sign up.
2. The app is free, membership is optional
Core features — round tracking, stats, the feed, friends, and the Mini-Tour — are free to use. Deer Camp Social Club is an optional paid membership that unlocks additional side games and features, billed through the App Store.
3. Subscriptions and billing
Membership subscriptions are billed by Apple through your App Store account and renew automatically until cancelled. You can manage or cancel your subscription any time in your iPhone Settings under your Apple ID. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access through the end of the period you've already paid for. We don't process or store your payment information — Apple does.
4. Merchandise orders
Shop purchases are processed through Shopify's checkout. Shopify's own terms and privacy practices apply to that transaction, including payment processing, shipping, and returns. Contact us if you have an issue with an order and we'll help sort it out with Shopify.
5. Scores are self-reported
Deer Camp is built on the honor system, the same way golf itself is. Scores, stats, and side game results are entered by players and are not independently verified. We do our best to build tools — like GPS-tracked rounds — that make honest scoring easy, but we can't guarantee the accuracy of any score, handicap, or leaderboard position. Any current or future competitive format (including a nationwide event) will rely on the same honor system unless we explicitly say otherwise at the time.
6. Your content
You own what you post — rounds, photos, callouts, challenges, and messages. By posting it, you give us permission to display it within the app to the friends, camp, or clan you've shared it with, and to store it so your history and stats stay intact. Don't post anything illegal, harassing, or that you don't have the right to share.
7. Conduct
Play fair, on and off the course. Don't harass other players, impersonate someone else, cheat the scoring system in bad faith, or attempt to disrupt the app for other users. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
8. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from within the app (Profile → Settings → Delete Account). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or applicable law.
9. Disclaimers
Deer Camp is provided "as is." We work to keep GPS data, stats, and scoring accurate, but golf courses, satellites, and phones are imperfect, and we can't guarantee the app will be error-free or uninterrupted. Use good judgment — don't rely on the app for anything where an inaccurate yardage or score would cause real harm.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Deer Camp Golf Co. is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including disputes between players over scores, side games, or wagers. Any side-game stakes you agree to with other players are between you and them — we just keep score.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the app grows. If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
